went to east coast park on saturday! took a cab there after 4 cabs refused to fetch me there." marine cove zai na li? huh, big splash there? bu yao." then with that, they just drove off.wth. learnt how to rollerblade with charissa who was trying to relearn. i the end i fell down like 3 times. then after that i cycled bak on vincent's bike cause my feet hurt really bad then. had bbq, and p&w which was quite fun. went home the long way. me and charissa wanted to stay over at ariellna's house or changi airport to fetch cassie back. but didn't and instead went home.
actually, most people are good-looking except for a few imperfections.
how to eat forbidden food before competition.
im currently staying at ariellna's, came since thursday and hasn't left yet. haha. we ate so much! and basically, i got to observe her sleeping habits. problem: no clothes left! oh well, will solve that later.
i haven't been updating much.oh well.went for 2 camps re4cently. canoeing camp from 4-5 june and adventure camp 3 from 8-11 june.anyway, celebrated charissa's birthday yesterday! its a few days early though, but cass is flying off to perth after the planetshaker's concert,damn.
haha. went for training til like 9.30, all i did was run like 4.8km, did some sprinting and act like maid. haha. then met ariellna and tricia at mac's. we were eating this seaweed shaker thing and i was imitating the way areillna was shaking her fries. then the lady beside us was said, stop it. haha, then she turned to us and was like; oh, you girls can shake it!hahas, stupid?yes. silly?quite. ohh,went for dare. the sermon was quite short yet interesting. then after dinner went to buy cassandra's birthday present. my dear, a sunflower for every rose. supposed to go meet my dg at 11am tmr. so yea. haha.
on sunday went for 3rd service. we celebrated tricia's birthday by bring her to build-a-bear. me, esther, ariellna, charissa. cassandra, charmaine, jon seow and gerrard shared the price. haha. tricia chose a super cute bear and dressed it up in a eeyor suit, it went commando as ariellna puts it. lol. after service we went to sky garden, spent some time there before going back. celbrated a late father's diner at minori. ate a lot.
school was so boring, nearly fell asleep during bio and physics. suddenly realised that not all homework was completed. basically slept after school. supposed to have amath lessons but mr teo came really late and by then almost everyone had left. from next week, i'll have amath lessons from 2-3.10 then amath remedial from 4-6. wth.
mr teo: yingying, what is gradient?
me: er, y=mx+c?( that was the only thing i knew then)
mr teo: no, you didn't hear me carefully, i said what is gradient?
me: er, m?
mr teo: yes, its m, but whats the formula?

mr teo:(gives an incredulous look)

hey, so my math isn't really that good, but at least i didnt say slope, which i was about to. then mr teo launched into a lecture how 3i's amaths is so not up to the standard. right. mr wong waddled in with his underwear tucked into his pants again. mdm chng gave us a rather wierd topic to write on: the classmate you missed most during the june holidays. haha, i miss sharon and her sarcastic and sardonic jokes." my grandfather made this floor, so i must honour him by sleeping on it."as quoted during sec 3 camp, this was her excuse for sleeping on the floor. did time trials twice, our timing was quite okay but not as fast as it should be.:/
my mom bought chocolates, really good ones i might add. and oh i have sudden clumps of blisters that sprouted on my left wrist and hand, doctor said it might be an allergy. its so itchy and it keeps oozing pus. especially during volleyball today. went for obs interview in the afternoon, and crapped my way around it. haha. it was kinda scary actually.

2.remove the fats clinging on to the drumstick.
3.drain off all oil.
final result: a fat-free, oil-free, meatless piece of drumstick.
forbidden food #2: POCKY
1.strip off that thin layer of chocolate/strawberry.
final result: a scrawny piece of biscuit.
forbidden food #3:CHILLI CRAB
1.wash off the chilli on the crab.
2. carefully pry open the shell, making sure that any remnants of chilli does not come in contact with the meat.
3. peel off a small layer of meat.
final result:a bland, small piece of crab.
footnote: Although all you get is tasteless crap, you still got to eat the forbidden food. the healthy version that is.
haha, while at macritchie today, we smelled lots of food. is it just our imagination or reality, we dont' really know. burnt kaya toast, eggs, big mac, petrol? a pretty wierd combination. and we smelt it right smack in the centre of nowhere. lol, then we were saying maybe it came from the condos nearby, like everyone there was making kaya toast, fengjia kept nidging me to hurry and take out the kaya toast. LOL

went to planetshakers concert, STEP INTO THE ZONE, yesterday! it was so FUN, apart from having to wait long in the hothothot sun. we walked all the way to coffee bean just to sit down in an air-conditioned place, ordered carrot cake and this belgian chocolate iceblended which was totally not worth the wait. man, sprite from the 7-eleven over there is completely undrinkable. it tasted like soda water.erk. :/
unfortunately, most of the planetshakers songs were unknown to me. but the sermon was quite good so was the post P&W. went back to ariellna's after the whole thing and had supper there! yea.haha,:D

haha, we pooled our money to get charissa this ultra HAWTHAWTHAWT present! she claimed that it looked quite scandalous from the outside of the bag, and refused to open it until much later.haha, we watched shrek 3 which was so short and somehow superficial. not quite what i expected. ate so much yesterday-2 bubblemilkteaicecream, 1 bowl of noodles, avacado juice, some wierd noodle biscuit, friedrice, oystermeesua,popcorn, beardpapacreampuff!! went shopping as well, went completely broke after that.oh well. bought the bolero jacket i reallyreallyreally wanted, and 2 super cute shirts! and i still want that junkfood tee from bugis street, and that 'very huggable' shirt from outfitters as well as that super cute heart necklace i saw at diva!! im so totally gonna get them! don't complain that i shop a lot, afterall that's what girls do!
okay, canoeing camp!
day 1
didn't go for training cause i sprained my wrist the day before, so ms lim took me to the doctor instead. meanwhile, i helped around and slacked a lot! after lunch, we did this so called 'amazing race' game. we went around looking for places and did some tasks given there. i was like some invalid, so i could'nt do much. what a disapointment. after dinner, mr goh gave this long lecture, and most of us were already on the brink of falling asleep.
day 2
woke up super early, the other's ran to kallang, while me and lava took a comfortable mrt journey there. waited approximately 1hr before they came. apparently, macritchie had closed down for the day because the publice has spotted 3 crocodiles swimming inside. um hello, we've been there for like 2 yrs and we've not seen even 1. it must be a monitor lizard or something. they did dragon boating, while i was left with nothing to do at the shore. stupid injury. so i waited and waited until they came back. talked to ariellna until my handphone battery almost went flat. went to get the food with ms lim after that, forgot to get the receipt, so i had to go baack to tiong and get it back. another movie, but ms lim called us out halfway to prepare for the water war later. somehow, i don't recall that the dietary specialists( namely yours truly and joon guan) have to dig out dustbins! water war was fun, then had the bbq. someone forgot to bring the matches and therefore it was delayed for quite long. ate very little-2 sticks of marshmallows, crabsticks, a quarterplate of salad, a tiny bit of semicooked corn, a stick of chicken kebab, thats all.
okay, now adventure camp was funfunfun!
day 1
me, ariellna, tricia, esther, charmaine went over to esther's to stay over the day before, bought our sandals then. went to yakun for breakfast. actually ccac wasn't all that bad afterall. hte dorms were quite spacious.bu the toilets were plain bleah. food was really tasty though. we played station games, most memoriable being the captain's ball. which was played using the chicken. we did'nt get to the squid one cause there wasn't enough time. haha, my thumb went up the chicken's ass, and it came out bloody. haha, they were saying the chicken was having its period then. lol. went for service at suntec after dinner. was really tired cause of insufficient sleep the day before. almost everone got slain during service, but i just didn't really feel it and sat down quietly. but the post p&w was considerably good.
day 2
woke up with a super bad hair day and swaeting legs. yes, it was that hot. went into the sauce pool with cass, it was pretty bad went the ask us to go all fours, but later they said since everyone all did it on all fours, we had to do it on our back. we came outwith both sides super dirty. had water war later, this codebreake game. i did the rockclimbing,and xinyi-mr chua's gf was my belayer! upon raching the top, they asked my to let go, but there i was clinging onto the fake wall for dear life. yea, i was super scared and started screaming that i didn't want to go down. in the end i still came down after some persuasion. actually, im not scared of heights, its just that i don't like adrieline thats all. we did this flour game, and all of us came out looking like cows haha. there was this pipeline game too which wasnt that bad, as well as theufo game which required lots of concentration. we were 5th. we had a really good service after dinner. p&w was ever great! i was preatty much awake throughout the whole service.
day 3/4
we had fbx in the morning. ah nothing i like better than morning exercise.NOT. did sharing then had field cooking! we ate a lot of food actually. and the peaches as well as the rambutans wer sososo good!succulent and large. actually i think we ate more fruits then actual food. haha. jon seow brought this frying pan.haha. went for 4th service as a ministry, was so drousy but didn't sleep. afterwards went to eastcoast to play candle war. jon seow spat all over the balloons, all we did was stand there and watch out candles burn cause most of the attackers didn't mange to make it through the first line of defence. haha. in the end we didn't get any ballons burst. had really WONDERFUL praise and worship under the stars! we went totally fun and crazy. oit was actually the best that i ever had throughout the camp. there was ariellna, charissa, cassandra, esther, tricia and victoria! it was so fun!haha, after that we plaed some games and jon seow joined us. everyone aimed him,haha. after that he left for soccer, while we went off to play catching and totally random games. we went back to the bunk and talked while esther wand victoria stayed. charissa went back to sleep, ariellna slept on the spot, tricia talked a bit before falling asleep too. then me and cassandra played a bit of monkey, watched the rest play captains ball and soccer before going up to pack our bags. then we cleaned the toilets. frankly, i knew cleaning toilets was tough, but i didn't know that it'll be this tough. we had bunk inspection too.
went back to suntec and was dismissed. was super tired. went home to sleep. in fact i slept so much i had throbbing headaches for the past 2 days!
thanks arielle for lending us her guitar, as well as cass for teaching me how to play it! well, my guitar's not with me, sadly, so thats the best i can have. i love cg1! :D
